Each season carries its own special mood, wholly different occasions and, we hope, the exhilaration of new surprises. In tune with the most subtle changes occurring in the jewellery world, The Jewel Box is perennially creating new jewellery to indulge their clientele.

This season, we are excited to present the Henna Collection and Nature Collection, two themed collections comprising a very limited number of rare one-off jewellery pieces.

What’s extraordinary is that each piece consists of a gemstone individually handpicked for some rare and unique quality about it, found only after painstakingly poring through thousands of gems.

The gemstones chosen are not necessarily “precious” or even “semi-precious” in the formal definition. However, all have some distinguishing quality about them separating them from the ordinary, marking them as a gem among gems.

Henna Collection
Inspired by Mehndi designs, the art of painting the skin with henna (an ink made from an oriental shrub) has been transformed into intricate, wearable jewellery for the woman wishing a modern and timeless look. Each piece is an intricate work of art waiting to be displayed on you.

The gemstones used include agate, onyx, rhodochrosite and smoky quartz; the “henna” painted over it is a lattice of gold work.

Nature Collection
Art inspired by nature has become a trifle passe. Art imitating nature... why imitate at all, we asked. Why not take the Creator’s creations and display them in all its organic beauty? Thus, every gemstone chosen for this Collection exhibits an extraordinary feature found in Nature.

The Jewel Box designers simply provided a suitable stage for Nature’s own creations to flaunt her intrinsic splendour; particularly her quixotic traits, marvellous idiosyncrasies and delicate sensuality.
