Founded in Singapore in 1994, The Jewel Box had its corporate origins in the diamond and gemstone wholesale business in Hong Kong. The seed for The Jewel Box, however, had germinated more than a decade earlier, the off-spring of Vinod & Sangeeta More’s passion for finely handcrafted jewellery. The husband and wife team were consumed by all aspects of jewellery and have formal education in gemology, design, manufacture, wholesale and retail sales, and investing in precious stones. Above all, they were bewitched by intricately made jewellery requiring the skills of master craftsmen using time-honoured techniques applied to the contemporary world of haute fashion jewellery.

With their fingers ever on the pulse of jewellery trends, they noticed consumers in Singapore becoming increasingly sophisticated in their knowledge and taste for bespoke jewellery; The Jewel Box was conceived to service this discerning clientele. The hallmarks of The Jewel Box creations are intricately crafted jewellery with elegant designs that transcend the capricious fads of fashion.

Ageless designs with lasting quality characterise their jewellery; many of which are one-off designs because the gemstone used carries a singularly unique trait, be it shape, colour or some unusual marking.

The Jewel Box has been rewarded with critical acclaim and has gained renown as one of the region’s leading private jewellers.

To this end, a quiet cosy gallery was established at Shaw Centre where clients may privately try on their latest collections, consult on any matter related to jewellery, or commission a customised creation. The Jewel Box is a full-service jeweller and can also restore or repair jewellery.
